Farm G&T

Our version of this time-honored, versatile favorite is inspired by Spanish style “gintonic” built in a large globe glass using our botanical Western Dry or Lavender gin and a handful of fresh garnishes from the farm.

Choose our Western Dry for a refreshing herbaceous version or Lavender Gin for a floral experience that transports you to the fields of Los Poblanos. We recommend selecting a tonic that is less sweet with botanical and citrus notes to accentuate the flavors of the gin (Our bars use Fever Tree Mediterranean Tonic).

A few garnish suggestions:

  • Lemon Twist - plays up the various citrus notes of our botanicals (lemon verbena, lemongrass, orange peel).
  • Orange Slice - a bright and refreshing contrast to the earthy and spicy notes that plays especially well with lavender and chamomile.
  • Rosemary - an herbal and resinous aromatic connection to the earthy notes that conjure a sense of place in New Mexico.
  • Juniper Berries – while our botanical-forward New Western style places juniper in the background, some people might enjoy this as an option to get a little more of that familiar juniper kick.

We love to add seasonal edible flowers straight from the garden to celebrate the herbal and floral components of the gin (rose petal, violet, lavender, chamomile). Experiment with gathering your own herbs and flowers from the garden to the glass. Add your favorite seasonal fruit or aromatic spices, and be inspired by the terroir of Los Poblanos.
