Lavender Gin Cosmo

Our gin spin on the classic Cosmopolitan will surprise and delight you as you wonder why it was ever made with vodka. We prefer pure cranberry juice to ''cranberry cocktail'' blends for a more classic level of tartness. For a little something extra, rim the glass with Rose Cocktail Rimming Sugar.

2 oz Los Poblanos Lavender Gin

1 oz orange liqueur or triple sec (we prefer Hollow Spirits brand from ABQ)

3/4 oz fresh squeezed lime juice

1/2 oz pure cranberry juice

garnish with an orange twist

Shake vigorously for 10-12 seconds.  Strain into a stemmed cocktail glass.  Squeeze the orange peel to express its oils on the surface before inserting.
