While we love to receive national recognition, we are especially grateful for support close to home. This piece in the Albuquerque Journal interviews Los Poblanos’ executive director, Matt Rembe, about the creation of Los Poblanos gin.
“What we were trying to achieve was a mix of botanicals that was the best representation of New Mexico, the Rio Grande Valley and of Los Poblanos,” Rembe said. “We had a great collaboration with our team on the property. We had farmers and gardeners working with our botanical distillers because we’ve been bottling essential oils with our lavender and other florals and botanicals for over 20 years now.”
